Languages and formations generated by D 4 and Q 8 1

چکیده
We describe the two classes of languages recognized by the groups D4 and Q8, respectively. Then we show that the formations of languages generated by these two classes are the same. We also prove that these two formations are closed under inverses of morphisms, which yields a language theoretic proof of the fact that the group formations generated by D4 and Q8, respectively, are two equal varieties.

Gaseous Reservoir Horizons Determination via Vp/Vs and Q-Factor Data, Kangan-Dalan Formations, in One of SW Iranian hydrocarbon Fields
An important method in oil and gas exploration is vertical seismic profile (VSP) to estimate rock properties in drilling well. Quality factor is also the crucial point of seismic attenuate in VSP data. In the present study, this factor was used to evaluate the hydrocarbon potential of Kangan Formation in one of the Persian Gulf oil fields using VSP zero offset method. Quality factor was estimat...
متن کاملMapping the Potential of Groundwater Resources in Hard Formations Using Geographic Information System and Remote Sensing, Case Study: Northwest of Shahroud
In recent years, rapid population growth has led to increase per capita water use in various sectors including agriculture and industry and a growing gap between water demand and water supply has emerged. Therefore, identifying and tracking changes in groundwater resources as an alternative and reliable source of surface water resources are so important to region located in the Middle East with...
متن کاملOn Silverman's conjecture for a family of elliptic curves
Let $E$ be an elliptic curve over $Bbb{Q}$ with the given Weierstrass equation $ y^2=x^3+ax+b$. If $D$ is a squarefree integer, then let $E^{(D)}$ denote the $D$-quadratic twist of $E$ that is given by $E^{(D)}: y^2=x^3+aD^2x+bD^3$. Let $E^{(D)}(Bbb{Q})$ be the group of $Bbb{Q}$-rational points of $E^{(D)}$. It is conjectured by J. Silverman that there are infinitely many primes $p$ for which $...

متن کاملGeneralized class formations and higher class field theory
Kato established higher local reciprocity map (see section 5 and [K1, Th. 2 of §6] (two-dimensional case), [K2, Th. II], [K3, §4]) using in particular this theorem. In this section we deduce the reciprocity map for higher local fields from this theorem and Bloch–Kato’s theorem of section 4. Our approach which uses generalized class formations simplifies Kato’s original argument. We use the nota...
